The 2026 APG Annual Meeting and Technical Assistance Forum, held in Brunei Darussalam from 27–31 July, brought together over 380 delegates, Including the Fiji FIU, to strengthen regional AML/CFT efforts.
Key outcomes included the adoption of new strategic priorities, publication of the first Global 5th Round mutual evaluation reports, enhanced focus on cyber-enabled crime, international cooperation, and trade-based money laundering, as well as coordination on technical assistance and capacity-building initiatives across the Asia/Pacific region.
